I was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in 1998 and I grew up in Trichy. I am a physicist by training, holding an undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Insitute of Technology Bombay, and a Master's in the same from the Technical University of Munich (Germany). The last three years of my life have been a period of intense personal transformation, culminating in revelations of how I have seen myself throughout my life and how I intend to script the rest of my life's chapters, beginning now.

Living in Munich, away from family, my closest friends and my country India, has provided me an outsider's perspective on all of them, and in that process, multiplied my love for them manifold. Moving away has also ineffably brought me closer to my Tamil and Indian roots.

With my Master's done and dusted, I am now leaving my life in Germany behind, to be in India with a desire to understand myself and my people better. My ambitious goal is to draw portraits of my experiences, and capture the staggering complexity of this nation and its people through photography and writing. I am letting this phase of discovery direct the course of my life in the coming months/years. I will use several lenses -  both metaphoric and literal - to document my journey here and on social media. Join me on my path of discovery and self-discovery :)
